The latest women, minorities, and persons with disabilities in science and engineering report (National Center for Science and Engineering Statistics, 2021) illustrates that the landscape of the academy is not representative of the diversity of talent despite the years of efforts to increase faculty diversity. This session will highlight the national and institutional implications of diversifying the academy.
